Automotive Parts Warehouse Storeperson

Dubbo Automotive now has an available opportunity to join the highly successful Parts Team in our Warehouse as a Storeperson! You will be part of the larger Autopact Group, which has 28 dealerships and 35 brands across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. 

We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to take responsibility for general warehouse duties such as picking, packing and receiving/dispatching of goods to the warehouse. This is an entry-level position for anyone wanting to start their career in the Automotive Industry or for an experienced Storeperson wanting to further their career in a leading, national Company.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.
  • Picking and packing of orders including courier and transport documentation.
  • General filing of receipts and invoices.
  • Locating and organising the storage of parts.
  • Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers.
  • Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with periodic stock checks.
  • Adhering to warehousing and inventory procedures.
  • General warehouse computer use.
  • Assisting with delivery driver duties when needed.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must exhibit a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Drivers licence is mandatory.
  • Forklift licence will be very highly regarded. 
  • A strong and enthusiastic work ethic.
  • Mechanical interest/experience
  • Motivation to provide high-quality service delivery.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • A willingness to learn and a passion for continuous improvement. 
  • Participate as a willing and productive member of the team.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to undertake physical manual labour.
  • Proficient in-person, email and phone communication skills.
