We are committed to reducing paper and going digital.The Fremantle Leisure Centre is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Gym Instructors to join the leisure centre team in providing a high level of customer service to both our internal and external customers. The position will see you dealing with a broad range of tasks as well as promoting and providing information to members / patrons on gym activities. It requires the ability to multi-task and think on your feet. Key responsibilities include:Work as a team member to provide current health and fitness advice and instruction through consultation in a friendly atmosphere.Design and demonstrate exercise programs for new and existing clients General supervision of the fitness centre to assist patrons with correct exercise execution and proper and safe use of the equipment.Conduct client inductions including fitness appraisal, program development, equipment orientation and exercise instruction.Ensure all equipment and the facility itself is kept to agreed standards of quality, maintenance, presentation, and cleanliness in line with current health and safety protocols. The successful appointee must be an adaptable and experienced as a gym instructor. The centre also offers personal training and group fitness classes with the option to take on multiple roles. You must also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. The gym instructors work on a rotational roster across seven days with morning, daytime and evening shifts available. The successful candidate will have a wide range of availability including weekends, mornings, daytime and evenings.
