Due to the continued growth of the business, an exciting opportunity is now available for a HR Business Partner to join the People & Culture team at Autopact. This role is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join one of Australia's leading automotive groups.

Please note this is a fixed term contract covering for maternity leave for a period of 9 months, with the possibility of extension.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the National Head of People & Culture, this role will provide advisory support to management and leaders on a broad range of topics involved in the employee lifecycle including:

  • Provide high-level HR advice and guide managers in addressing employee issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives including, but not limited to, succession planning, workforce planning, performance evaluations, training needs analysis, and compensation and benefits.
  • Handle employee relations matters and investigations, working to resolve conflicts and grievances fairly and impartially.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to management.
  • Strive for efficiency, accuracy, and automation in the P&C function to enhance overall productivity.

 What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels including executive management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree and relevant HR certifications preferred.
  • Strong solid HR experience (5+ years), with a background in an advisory or business partner level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven success in developing and executing HR and culture strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and ethics.
