What you'll do: Lead the delivery of key inputs to the pricing proposalPlan tasks for, and coordinate the execution of, the pricing proposal work streamsDevelop and maintain a high-level project plan including timelines and dependenciesUnderstand and advise the business on how to meet the expectations defined in IPART's regulatory water pricing handbookContribute to delivery of the capital expenditure and operating expenditure work streamsContinuously follow up on project progress and managing issues and risks as they ariseCollaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve goals, providing guidance and hands-on support where neededAssist with drafting the pricing proposal and preparing underpinning evidence documentsWhat you'll need to be successful: Essential Criteria: Undergraduate tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline.Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Conceptual reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills.Proficiency and interest in modelling, including the use of spreadsheets.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Ability and enthusiasm to understand the subject-matter detail relating to IPART's water regulatory framework and a pricing proposal for a water-utilityGeneral project management experienceDemonstrated ability to work with financial informationDesirable Criteria: Experience working in a price-regulated utility, or on a regulatory proposalPrevious professional work experience.Advanced user of MS Excel.Strong business writing skills.Application Steps: To be considered for this position applicants must submit a cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria and provide a current resume.
