Trainee Business Manager (Automotive Finance & Insurance)

Who are we?

Autopact is one of Australia's largest and growing automotive dealership groups.  Across our 28 dealerships along the eastern seaboard, we represent 35 of the top car brands in Australia, covering each of the volume, premium, luxury and commercial vehicle categories. 

We have an amazing opportunity for Trainee Business Managers to join our team at various locations across Victoria. The training period will be between 6-12 months and will involve on-the-job training and mentoring with experienced Business Managers, in addition to the completion of the Autopact Business Manager Training program. 

 

What does the role involve? 

  • Lead Management – contacting all vehicle leads in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Assisting the sales team with negotiation and closing of sales.
  • Meeting KPIs in relation to the sale of Finance, Insurance and Warranty products to clients of the Dealership.
  • End-to-end processing of vehicle loans (from application to settlement).
  • Providing outstanding customer service.
  • Strict adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.

 

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following –

  • It is envisaged you will have a background in sales and/or banking, finance, or insurance industries. 
  • Highly self-motivated and financially driven.
  • Passionate about achieving success in the role, whilst also being committed to delivering the highest level of customer service. 
  • Process and procedure-driven, with an exceptional degree of self-motivation.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • A high standard of personal presentation.
  • The ability to work in a busy team environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Confident computer skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in both a face-to-face and phone environment. 
  • A reliable vehicle and open Australian driver's licence is required.
