An opportunity awaits for a Vehicle Detailer and Yards Attendant to join our team at DC Motors Rockhampton. We are looking for a permanent employee who is reliable, self-motivated and who will provide quality automotive cleaning and detailing services. The primary function of this role is to prepare vehicles for customer handover and maintain display vehicles to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to commence or further their career within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards.
• Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Accurately carrying out the application of aftermarket products.
• Detailing vehicles in preparation for customer handover.
• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
• Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations, or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
• Maintaining the appearance of all vehicle displays and ensuring they are highly presentable for sale.
• Recleaning of vehicles for delivery. 
• Refuelling of display vehicles. 
• Inspecting new vehicle deliveries on arrival from transport companies.
• Day-to-day general hand duties around the dealership.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Take great pride in quality workmanship.
• Valid manual driver’s licence with good driving record is essential.
• Experience using and operating buffers is essential.
• Prior detailing experience will be highly regarded.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
